Jewelry Care Guide

A little care keeps your pieces glowing for years.

Jewelry lives its best life when it's the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. A few small habits go a long way.

The golden rule: last on, first off.

Put your jewelry on after lotion, perfume, sunscreen, and hairspray — and take it off before showering, swimming, or working out. Cosmetics and chlorine are the fastest way to dull a finish.

Keep it dry.

Our stainless and titanium steel pieces are water-resistant and fine for everyday life, but they'll stay brightest if you keep them out of pools, hot tubs, and long soaks. Gold-plated pieces especially prefer to stay dry.

Wipe after wearing.

A gentle pass with a soft, dry cloth lifts away oils and keeps everything shining. Skip harsh chemical cleaners and ultrasonic machines.

Store separately.

Tuck each piece into its own pouch or a lined box so chains don't tangle and finishes don't scratch. A dry spot away from direct sunlight is ideal.

A note on plated finishes.

Gold- and rose-gold-plated pieces are gorgeous, and with gentle care they hold their shine. Like all plated jewelry, the finish can soften over time with heavy daily wear — treating them kindly keeps them looking new far longer.
